You'll have to download software to start working with the G6 Lite. The G6 Full Installation Package is 42,7 mb, caused by all the screenshots that come with it.
After the easy installation you'll have to connect the G6 Lite cart to the U Disk. When you put the U Disk inside the USB port of your PC, a message will pop up that a Mass storage device has been found.
After about 5 seconds the hardware has been configured and you'll be able to start the G6 U-DISK Manager. Once started, it will ask for the location of the flashcard. After selecting you'll get a screen in which you can add and remove Gba and Nds roms with great ease! Check out our video for the full process:

The G6 Lite has 512 megabytes of memory, which can be filled in about 2 minutes. The box gives the following numbers:
32M (which is 4 megabytes)  – 2 seconds
64M (which is 8 megabytes) – 4-5 seconds
128M (which is 16 megabytes) – 8-10 seconds
These are number that are pretty accurate. The software on the G6 Lite is nicely done. After bootup (which takes about 8 seconds, depending on the amount data stored on the G6 Lite), you'll get an menu with small icons of Nds games that you currently have on your card. From here you can manage saves, switch to GBA mode to play Gba games, swith to Media mode to play some media, use the PDA of the G6 Lite (more a gimmick than a real feature) or you can boot NDS games. You can boot NDS games by selecting them with your stylus (or with the buttons if you wish). After selecting a game a small round will pop up which fills in a couple seconds (again depending on the size of the rom) and the game will start!

Gameboy Advance games
After reading and testing much, I can conclude that the G6 Lite can play any commercial gameboy advance rom that has been released. (Only Mario Pinball and Summon Nights have been reported to not saving correctly). This puts G6 Lite in the top of Gba compatibilty. G6 Lite support real time saving in Gba games only, which means that you can save anytime in the game by pressing 4 buttons at the same time. I found this very comforting. I didn't test any homebrew Gba games, but reports show that G6 Lite isn't preffered when you are planning to play homebrew Gba games.
